The details
The main piece on the coffin, usually from the closest family: a single-ended spray for the foot of the casket, or a double-ended spray running the length of the lid. We ask about the coffin and the service so it is made to fit, and about the person so the flowers are theirs. That might be a garden of roses and stocks, a wild meadow of wildflowers and grasses, or a formal spray of lilies and greenery. It is made to order in the Sevenoaks studio and delivered to the funeral director timed for the service, with a handwritten card.
